iBanknet Delivers Bank Financial Reporting Content Through Google Base

MARBLEHEAD, MA -- (BUSINESS WIRE) -- 02/02/2006 --

iBanknet.com, built on an XML/XBRL foundation, has started to make content sourced from the public regulatory filings of Banks and Bank Holding Companies, Thrifts, and Credit Unions available through the use of the Google Base Beta.

Currently, the majority of financial reporting data is stored in a manner not suitable for internet search engines. It's both difficult and time consuming to find detailed financial reporting data on the Internet. Using the combination of iBanknet's XML/XBRL based content and Google Base, consumers will be able to locate and analyze data much quicker.

Google Base is an exciting new approach for searching the Internet. Individuals can perform very detailed searches on structured content, and then further refine their search criteria and sequence their results. You can, for example, search for all Credit Unions in California and have the results displayed in order of Assets high to low. From the search results individuals can then click through to the iBanknet.com Financial Reports Center where they view a summary page of financial information, and can then drill deeper into very detailed financial information. Additionally, by making structured data available, search engines such as Google, can produce much more reliable search results.

"We are extremely pleased with the results of making iBanknet content available through the Google Base Beta. Interactive data in conjunction with the evolving World Wide Database will result in new levels of transparency and better informed consumers. Both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council have asked the Software Industry to step up to the interactive data plate, and we are responding" said Marian Albert, co-founder of iBanknet.com.

iBanknet's coverage includes five XBRL taxonomies (FFIEC031, FFIEC041, OTS1313, NCUA5300 and FRY9C) that represent regulatory filings of over 20,000 Financial Institutions and Holding Companies, in 80 schedules supporting over 3,000 data elements.

iBanknet.com is owned and operated by HighRidge Technologies Incorporated, a small innovative company specializing in XML and XBRL technologies located in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
