iBanknet.com is built on an interactive data foundation. This foundation lends itself to the construction of feeds that power gadgets and widgets.
What is a gadget? What is a widget? Generally, they have a small footprint and can be easily customized for single feeds or mashups (multiple merged feeds). We provide the iBanknet data in a feed format, and you have the freedom to choose the feed and the widget or gadget.
We've developed three of our own widgets that we hope you'll find useful; the iBanknet widget, SEC Filings Widget and the Executive Pay widget.
The iBanknet widget provides a simple interface for finding financial institutions on iBanknet.com from your Google Personalized Homepage or most any web page or blog.
It currently searches through our growing inventory of over 6,400 U.S. financial institutions where users can click through to find between 800 to 1,500 financial data points per institution.
The SEC Filings Widget is a small footprint application to view both the latest SEC filings and the most recent filings for a company based on the ticker or CIK number.
The widget uses the SEC ATOM feeds to provide a summary of the filings. Any company filing at the SEC can be searched by ticker or CIK number and optionally filtered by form type.
Users can click through to the SEC to view the individual filing, corporation filings page, latest filings page or view any of the ATOM feeds.
The Executive Pay Widget is a small footprint application to help people find executive compensation for 500 of some of the largest U.S. companies.
The widget provides a breakdown of executive compensation in seven categories such as salary, bonus, stock and option awards, etc, using U.S. GAAP method of valuing options for over 2,500 executives.
The executive pay data, sourced from the SEC, can be searched by ticker or users can click through the list of industry groups.
